Flash the firmware to your Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-1.28 — right from this page.
Use Chrome or Edge on a desktop (they support Web Serial).
Plug the board into your computer with a USB-C cable.
Click Connect below and choose the serial port.
Click Install and wait — it takes about a minute.
Your browser doesn't support Web Serial — please use desktop Chrome or Edge.
This page must be served over HTTPS to flash.
After flashing: the tracker creates a Wi-Fi hotspot called
WorldCup-Setup. Join it, then enter your Wi-Fi and a free
football-data.org
token. Full instructions are in the
README.
Your Wi-Fi password and API token are stored only on the device and are
never part of this firmware.
